So I made it through day 3 and again just walked it but this time there was a bit of an incline at the beginning and end of the walk. I felt much better during the walk, it may be because I had water with me and stayed better hydrated or maybe because I was wearing different shoes. My shins didn't hurt nearly as much but they were quite heavy. They were some clod-hoppers and going down the hill they hurt my toes a little bit. All in it was a good day. I'm thinking next week will be another walking week maybe week 0.5 we will have to see how it looks on Monday.
Weight: 385
Feeling: Not too bad but really hot. (Need AC)

Yea Dennis!!!! Keep up the good work! Any time you need a walking partner let me know. I just finshed off the rest of Skye's birthday cake (which equated to 4 large pieces, ugh!!)and I need to walk of some guilt.
I am so proud of you. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to walk with you today! You are keeping me going. Thank you! I need it, and I wouldn't be doing it without your help. Love you tons. Mom
I think walking is a really good way to start. Don't get discouraged about walking, just think of it as a comparison to what you were doing a month ago... You are doing great! And as you build your endurance in my heart and lungs your muscles will follow suit and you be able to pick up the pace, the key is consistency. If you keep working you'll get stronger and thinner and both will help make it easier and more fun.
Dave told me you were doing the couch c25k program, but I didn't know you were posting updates. That's awesome. I can't believe you've already lost so much weight. Ragnar is an awesome goal and I've heard it's really fun to work with a team. Walking's a great way to start, particularly with an incline.
Part of my problem with consistently working out (well, or NOT consistently working out) is that I tend to overdo it and hurt myself, then get discouraged and quit. Slow and steady is definitely the way to go. When I started aerobics up here my joint pain initially got worse and I almost quit, but after a few weeks it's gone away and I feel better than I did before. Stick with it! I'm proud of you and can't wait until Ragnar. :)
