log, but since I don't have my own personal blog...
here it goes (insert evil laugh here). The above pic
is my first covered bridge, for which Vermont is known for.
We are also standing in the lovely "engagement picture"
pose (which you will see we were particulary fond of).
Also, it rained almost the entire time, but we still had
a lot of fun.
The above is in Sharon, the birthplace of Joseph Smith Jr.
Behind us is the memorial oblisk at the visitor's center. The
oblisk stands 38 1/2 ft. (?) tall - each foot representing
a year in Joseph's life. Notice: Rain & engagement pose.
The above was taken at Vermont's state capitol building.
We took this the second day we were there, which
happened to be the only sunny day, and of course,
the one day I decided to wear a turtle neck. Slight
variation of "the pose".
Day hike behind the state capitol. I think we
decided to settle on this one for the official
announcement.
Bought at a roadside fruit stand:Famous Vermont Cabbot
cheddar cheese and the best Honey Crisp apple.
YUM-O!!!
This is "Ted" the Toad. He was cold so I warmed
him up (you can't see, but he has a very self-satified
look on his face). My thoughts were turned toward
Dalton at this time-this one is for you, Dalton!
This was taken on the sugar farm we visited. Sean works
with a lady who owns many acres of maples
from which she and her hubby make wonderful maple syrup
as a hobby.

Oh Heather! Subject us to your travelogue any day!!! These pictures are awesome! It looks so beautiful there. And it looks like you guys had so much fun together. That's the best part! I agree with your choice for the announcement... its perfect! :) I'm so happy for you guys. :)
I loved the travel log. The pictures are great. It really is beautiful, and the couple are beautiful too. I would love to go with you two next fall.
Love you tons. Mom
These are awesome and your engagement poses made me laugh! And yes, toads are very cold, but I have yet to see ours look satisfied. I like to keep him around because he's consistently grumpier than I am.
