I'm wondering if I should post this after reading about how much the Woodburys missed it. We missed you too!
First, some of the gaming. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures of the gamers. I'm kind of new to the photographer game and I keep forgetting that I should be taking pictures!
| Start 'em young. |
Next-paper bag costume design! Those Woodies would have excelled at this.
And the results...
| Jensen as a dragon. |
| Bella as a tiger and Jack as a pirate. Arrr matey! |
| Cambry the butterfly. I could not catch a picture of her cute little face! |
| Lucy as a fisherwoman. Just FYI, she puked about 3 minutes after this picture was taken. Poor girl. |
Where Lucy hung out during trick-or-treating, poor girl. She asked me to go get candy for her IN HER COSTUME. I sincerely hope no one caught pictures.
| Porter as R2D2. |
| This picture was taken to convince Wall-E to wear his hat. It worked. |
| I thought the Lego was rather ingenious. |
| Reagan as Catwoman (the mask is rather smashing) and Cord as Spiderman. |
| Paigin', the little devil. |
| Garrett working construction and Leah counting her sheep. |
| I just had to get a picture of Tigger's tail. |
| Robotic Eden. |
| Another cute little dragon. I honestly have no idea whose child this is. |
| Dalton suddenly became interested when he found out there was candy involved. Unfortunately, the only costume option left was "paper bag". He took it and ran with it. |
Wall-E, the finished product. Next time I'll make sure to have yellow and orange paints!
| Even Cajun got in on the fun. |
| Jack Sparrow (aka Andrew) charming the ladies. |
Dave "passing out candy". There was a large bag of candy in the cooler afterward. I don't think he should be trusted to handle the candy again.
| I forgot to get a picture of Nola's costume (don't forget, I was cleaning up puke), so I snapped some of the pajama cowgirl at home. She did this all on her own. Next time we should do awards-she would have won best fringe and best use of blue tape! |
| She turned to see her friend and I got my favorite shot! |
I thought her 'sheriff badge' was rather brilliant. Mark's girls were clipping the tops off of spoons and flattening them for necklaces, so Nola used one of the discarded tops as her badge. That's my girl. ;)
More to come...

Wow! Adrienne I think that you got some great shots to help us all remember a fabulous weedend.
Thank you,
Love Mom Holliday
Holy smokes! That is amazing!!!! All of those costumes... did people come up with them on their own or did someone think stuff up before hand? I'm super impressed! And Nola did that all on her own?!?! She has a gift, to be sure.
People came up with the ideas all on their own. You are correct some of the costurmes were amazing. It was a great idea because it got all of the mom's & dad's working with the kids, and then all of the older folks got to enjoy the parade and give out candy.
Adrienne YOU'RE AMAZING!! Thanks for the great activity. It was a blast. And thanks for making Lincoln's awesome costume and convincing him to get dressed up. It was a fun weekend.
