Well, I had the flu and was glued to my couch for about 5 days. It was truly awful and I didn't get to workout except for 1 day. Ironically enough, the only other thing that I find a real struggle is not getting TOO much sleep. I am SO tired! Oh. and if I don't pray in the morning its really hard to get it done the rest of the day. I am loving the fruits and veggies! That is definitely my favorite part of the challenge!
Argh-today, everything was hard, even the TREATS, which have been the easiest part so far (I did not give in, however). I think I've gotten used to not eating after 8PM and drinking copious amounts of water (in addition to peeing more often than all of my kids together!). But today, I'm feeling discouraged instead of challenged. I'm grumpy and instead of enjoying my semester break I now feel like I've signed myself up for ONE MORE THING to feel guilty about. Bah humbug!
No worries. I'm sure I'll feel better after 7-8 hours of sleep. ;)
Adrienne! I'm sorry it was a rotten day! Don't feel guilty. None of us are going to judge you. I didn't work out again yesterday and that's OK... I can only do what I can do. :) Hope today is better! Love you lots!
Hahaha! A 10 point day even though the neighbors dropped off cookies (which look outstanding) after 8:00. Dave has fallen on the sword for me and is eating them so he can let me know whether or not they're worth it (what a sacrifice!).
I might have one tomorrow, though, they look REALLY good. Wasn't worth TWO points, though!
Ok last week was easy for the water, fruits & veggies, no treats, workouts and sleep. My problem was remembering to read in the BOM. I only missed one day, but caught myself several times. This week started off good, but then Wednesday we had our CASH meeting and they had vanilla ice cream & brownies. I knew I couldn't eat the brownies, but was excited to eat some ice cream. It wasn't until after I had eaten two bites of it that I remembered our challenge. Then last night after 8 I was wrapping some christmas gifts and when I got in the closet there was some black red vines and I thought I should eat them because I already lost the no treats. So I got one out and had just taken a bite when Dennis came into the room. I told him that it was ok because I had lost the no treat thing already. When he said but it is after eight. I stopped chewing and went into the bathroom and spit it out. So sad, but thanks to Dennis I didn't loose 2 points because I hadn't swallowed any of my treat. I should have thought about it sooner. Oh well. Thanks for helping me to be healthy.
