The Results Are In...

Dad went in to see the Radiologist and they determined that he needs some steroid injections into his spine.  It should take out the swelling from the arthritis.  Wednesday at 10 am he should be on his road to recovery!  They'll inject the most painful area first, there are 4 places that look like they'd benefit from the injection, but they try to do as little of the injections as possible.  He'll possibly have to have injections every year or two because it is arthritis and will continue to get worse.  Since he can't have anti-inflammatory drugs (due to his surgery) he will have to go with the injections.  

The radiologist did say that Dad's disks in his spine were the best 56 year old spine he's seen.  Exclaiming, "I don't know what you've done to take care of it, but whatever it was, it worked!"  Too bad he has the arthritis in the joints.  Thanks everyone for your prayers!
