Chicago Highlights

Here are a few highlights from our recent trip to Chicago. The first picture (above) is the view from our hotel window. We had a nice view of the Chicago river, two towers obviously designed in the 60's and the Church of Scientology (below right hand corner). If you look closely you can see Tom Cruise peeking out one of the windows.
This picture we took for Dennis. We stayed in the Hard Rock Hotel and in the main lobby was this shimmering display. This was the actual outfit worn by the lead guitarist (?) for Styx. It has "Domo Arigato" written all over it, wouldn't you say?
On our first official day in Chicago we visited the Sears tower which is now called the Willis Tower (Wha' choo takin' bout Willis!). This is the downward view taken from the clear observation cubicles. Wowza! Isn't it stunning!! (The toe nails I mean...I guess the view is ok too).

Totally freakin' awesome. I mean, the trip looks fun, but I'm just excited that somebody finally posted something :P

No really, I want to puke when I look at the picture from the clear observation cubicles (and no, it's not your toenails. They look lovely!). I'm still feeling a little faint.

And that pizza is to die from!

Also (backtracking-can't you tell), that is an absolutely gorgeous dress! I love that they are doing wedding dresses with some color now-I mean, you can't wear them in the temple, but that's just an excuse to get a nice new temple dress too, right?

Still trying to find the awkward pic...

Wow. Those towers are screaming '60s, awesome. Love the jumpsuit, too bad your cousin's groom didn't have a suit like that for the wedding, that would have been cool.

Why is it the Willis Tower now?

OH MAN! I am jealous of this trip, but eagerly awaiting our own getaway, even if Ethan will be working half the time...
