What a good Grandpa

I have this one posted on my blog too, but I just love it!  Those boys love their Grandpa Hoss!

Grandma Suzie's Easter Egg Hunt

I only have a few good pictures of the Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Suzie's, but here they are...if you have some, please share them with the rest of us!  :)

Lincoln looks as if to be saying, "I have all I need!"

Just click on this one to enlarge it.  I love how many different things are happening in this photo.  Too cute!

Super Cousins Unite!!!

Thanks everyone for coming to Bryant and Jonas' birthday party!  We all had so much fun!  Here are some fun pictures of all the cute kids up at bat and some other random fun shots!  Just in case you're interested, there are lots more pictures of the party on my blog but they are mostly of my kids.  Sorry to Lucy and Nola-I couldn't remember your superhero names, I'll try to find them and add them later.

The Results Are In...

Dad went in to see the Radiologist and they determined that he needs some steroid injections into his spine.  It should take out the swelling from the arthritis.  Wednesday at 10 am he should be on his road to recovery!  They'll inject the most painful area first, there are 4 places that look like they'd benefit from the injection, but they try to do as little of the injections as possible.  He'll possibly have to have injections every year or two because it is arthritis and will continue to get worse.  Since he can't have anti-inflammatory drugs (due to his surgery) he will have to go with the injections.

The radiologist did say that Dad's disks in his spine were the best 56 year old spine he's seen.  Exclaiming, "I don't know what you've done to take care of it, but whatever it was, it worked!"  Too bad he has the arthritis in the joints.  Thanks everyone for your prayers!

Bet you thought I'd never do it....

Okay, I am actually blogging. Now I text and blog, next I'm going to start wearing thongs and calling them flip flops (please don't push me that far, I'm getting older and LIKE being stuck in my ways).

What's new with this Holliday family? Well, Papa is in Florida and had two sales right out of the gate, so we're pretty pleased. Mama is finishing the semester and should be much nicer and more sociable in about two weeks. In the meantime, if you stop by, the kids will be dressed like ragamuffins with messy hair (I know, it will be big shock) and more than likely, you will have nowhere to sit due to the laundry on the couch that still needs folding. Also, I should be going to bed before midnight!

Dalton is doing well in school and is really becoming a great reader (if you can GET him to read to you, that is!). Nola is taller every day (trying to catch Paige) and is preparing to be the best mother's helper the world has ever seen. Lucy is trying to decide whether she wants to be a big girl or a baby (she changes about every twenty minutes, if you ask her) and is somehow retaining her charm while adamantly refusing to do anything I ask. She gets away with it because yesterday she told me I was "fabulous"-that ought to buy her a couple more days.
And the baby-well, "it" is kicking and flipping as I write.

So, that's it for us. This picture is a little outdated (it's from Indy last summer), but it's my favorite, so I had to add it.

Dad's MRI

Well, today Dad is getting his MRI...hopefully they will able to see what the problem is that is causing all the pain in his back.  We should all take a moment to say a little prayer for him before 1:00 when he goes in.  He could use all our faith and support!

My first post

So, for all you folks out there who think I'm dead... I'm not. I'm actually alive. This is proof.

So there.
